It is an herbal oasis in Mahgee's garden in Minnesota. The basil and lemonbalm are flourishing as well as the Rosemary and Lavender, which in other years have not been so lush. Calendula has done a good job of reseeding and along with a little help from moi it is spreading its wings from one end to the other. My newest member of the herb garden is one that I wintered over from last year, the Passion Flower. It is growing and vining prolifically since I transplanted it from its pot in the house. So happy to be outside once again, it adds such a beautiful splash of color and grace to the garden and surrounding fence. I do not know yet how I will incorporate these beauties into my products, but I am sure there will be something I can do with it. We will see in the year to come. Now, time for more research...

Vacation time is over, time to get back to the bubbles!
Life was great in the warm Virginia sun with the frogs, birds and the bees... lots of bees on the lavender and herbs blooming in the summer heat. Time to leave all the hustle bustle of every day life behind and go hunting for seashells or some beautiful wildflowers or maybe lie in a hammock and watch the birds frolic in the sun. But don't worry, I will be back soon.
