Mahgee's History
 
Mahgee's Naturals was founded because of my search for a natural soap that bubbles up nicely without drying my skin. Our soap does not contain perfumes, artificial colors, or other unnatural chemicals. The use of these chemicals has had adverse effects on many individuals. A product without chemicals is very desirable because of the many chemicals we face in society today. My goal is to minimize the exposure of these harmful chemicals by using natural ingredients in my soap, making it safer for you and your family.

The scents that I use in our soap are from essential oils found in beneficial flowers and herbs, enhancing the quality of the soap and thus making the pleasure of using it much greater. Often times I will use wildflowers of the fields to add fragrance in a light scent. After many requests for popular scents I found it necessary to add fragrance oils to my line of products. I use only Phthalate free fragrances oils.
About Our Name
 
 The name Mahgee (pronounced maw-gee) was given to me by my granddaughter before she could even walk! Over the years she has learned to say Grandma, but I will always be Mahgee to her. Darbee is one of the most natural people I know, so I decided to use the name she gave me to remind me of the reason I started this soap company, naturally.

The Mahgee's Naturals Family

 

Laurie "Mahgee" Gebert -- Founder and artisan of Mahgee's Naturals. Essentially, she does all the hard work.

Joseph Gebert -- Computer expert, adviser, and general helper. He's usually called "the guy who knows what he's doing." And he's usually called to proof-read or when the computer just won't work for me.

And let us not forget the many soap testers. They tell Mahgee how the soaps smell, look, feel, lather, et cetera.
