Minnesota
Black Bear Soap | By far my finest creation, this soap
is made from the fat of a Minnesota Black Bear. The bear fat makes a smooth, creamy bar that leaves
the skin with a softness unique to bear fat soap. Goat's milk is added for a truly outstanding bar of soap. |
 Ingredients:
Coconut
oil, goat’s milk, Bear fat, sodium hydroxide, castor oil, olive oil,
Shea butter, Soybean Oil, Cottonseed oil palm oil, fragrance, cocoa
butter &
Stearic acid.
| Bear Fat
Soap
This
was the start of a whole new product for Mahgee's Naturals. I knew that
I had really hit on something when I first tried this wonderful soap.
This is truly the best soap that I have ever used. Once you try bear
fat soap, you will never want another bar of soap.
Scents will vary from time to time, check back for different
varieties.

| Lavender
Lavender is a very
relaxing scent that comes from the essential oils of the lavender plant.
There are many different varieties of the lavender plant. This is a
lovely mixture of french lavender along with a couple of others to make
it light and fragrant but not medicinal. This is surely is one of my
favorite herbs in my garden.

| Patchouli
Patchouli is one of
my favorites and this is made with a high quality dark Indonesian
patchouli essential oil. It has a deep, rich, earthy scent. Because of
the high cost of patchouli oil, it is a little more than the other soap
right now. When the cost of the oil goes down, the price of my soap will
go down as well.

Handmade Soap as a
Shampoo Bar
I use any
of my soaps as a shampoo bar. It cleans
the hair and scalp wonderfully and leaves the hair shiny and squeaky
clean. After wetting the hair, stroke bar on the hair, do not scrub with the bar. Work into a lather from the scalp to the ends of
the hair. Rinse and repeat if necessary. Mix 1 Tablespoon of white
vinegar in a quart of warm water and pour over your clean hair,
working it through the hair all the way to the ends. Leave in for about 5
minutes, then rinse out. You
will be
amazed at the softness and shine left behind. No hair conditioner is needed. Comb gently with your
fingers and air dry.
|
For very dry, brittle hair, a
couple of drops of olive oil or jojoba oil rubbed in your hands can be
worked gently into the dry areas while wet. For a nice added scent, add a
few drops of lavender or rosemary essential oil for brunettes and shake it
up before use.

| Wooden Soap Dishes made with
re-claimed wood for a greener world. You just can't have a good bar of
handmade soap without a good handmade soap dish to put it on. Handmade
soap retains it's natural glycerin. Glycerin attracts moisture to your
skin to keep it soft, but it will also attract moisture to the soap bar
if it is allowed to sit in water between uses. To help retain the
hard bar of soap we have the soap dish that is best for handmade soap. 4.5" X 3.75" |
